Multi Dog/species households.

We all wish for a harmonious life.
Sometimes we have to put a little extra work in to create this.

I went to see a fabulous family yesterday who are so committed to their four legged family members, they wanted to nip something that was worrying them in the bud before anything really bad happened.

If you have animals that don’t seem to get on all the time, the best time to start doing something about it is yesterday.

 Here are my Top 5 Tips:

 Take action NOW!

 AVOID conflict!

 Feed separately, in areas the other dog/animal can’t get to. (Closed doors, puppy pens, baby gates etc)

 Make sure each animal can get away, retreat to a ‘safe’ place.

 Give each animal separate alone time with a filled kong or a chew to enjoy ALONE.
AND separate one on one time with you. What does each animal LOVE doing? Walking, playing, being stroked?
